The Ginsberg Center of the University of Michigan is an on campus service-learning center that helps engage the students, faculity and community partners to better serve the surrounding community. Ginsberg Center offers several ways for improving communities through the combination of community service and academic learning.

Shikoba Productions has produced the Ginsberg Center's award ceremony videos since Spring of 2008. The award ceremony video is the center piece for the award ceremony. The videos consists of interviews with the award winners that hone in on the reasons for the award winners valiant efforts in improving a community and what they did.
